Soft pastels are easily becoming my new favourite art supply to use. I love layering them and seeing how they evolve and just pop right out at you. This one was a bit of an experiment - for the background I used a piece of fabric and glued it to some cardboard, then mixed gesso and pastel ground to create the surface and made the blurry background with acrylic paint and inks - then layered my pastels on top 🥰🌸🐝 Pastels are the Paris set by @sennelier1887 👌 . . . . . #pastelart #pastelartist
