Chive blossom butter is versatile and flavorful and can be used in many dishes. It’s great on bagels, English muffins and any other breads, crackers, eggs, baked or mashed potatoes, pasta, vegetables, meats, and fish. I used 6 tablespoons of chive florets and didn’t add the chopped chives. The butter was unsalted so I added ¼ teaspoon of sea salt. How to make chive oil and chive blossom vinegar! A match made in heaven 😍 perfect to use in any dish really, and you can also make an amazing chive blossom vinaigrette! For the chive blossom vinegar, use as many blossoms as you can. Some like to fill the entire jar, I wanted to save some of mine so I used about a cup of blossoms for the pint jar. Same with the chive oil. I eyeballed it, but used maybe 1-2 cups of chives and about 2 cups of olive oil. Super easy to play around with! Let me know

Chive blossom vinegar is great in marinades, salad dressings, sauces, and or soups. It’s also excellent in potato salad! Chive blossom vinegar should last about three months at room temperature, stored away from direct light. It may be refrigerated for about a year. When it starts to have a cloudy appearance, it has gone bad. Wash the chive blossoms and let the excess water evaporate. Then, place 1 cup of blossoms in a jar and pour 1.5 cups of vinegar over them until they are fully submerged. Yo

Chive Blossom VinegarThis is a lovely infused vinegar, with an onion flavour, which is so simple to make. Cut fresh beautiful purple chive blossoms, and let them soak for a few hours in water to remove any bugs or debris which may be hiding. Strain and add to a clean sterilized jar. There are two methods to adding the white vinegar. The first, you heat the vinegar on the stove and them pour over blossoms into the jar and let sit for a few days. The second, you add room temperature vinegar to the

3 ways to use chive blossoms 🌸 Chive Blossom Vinegar: mix blossoms and vinegar (I like white wine vinegar) in a jar and let steep for 3-7 days. The more flowers you use, and the longer you steep, the stronger the taste will be. Strain out the flowers and enjoy! I like to mix with olive oil for a light salad dressing. This will store for a couple of months at room temperature. Chive blossom butter: Mix blossoms with room temperature softened butter, and reshape into a log using parchment paper.

💜 Have you tried chive blossom vinegar? It's an absolutely *gorgeous* herbal infused vinegar, and is SO easy to make 👇🏼 . INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Harvest fresh chive blossoms. For the best results, choose flowers that are fully open but haven’t yet begun to fade or dry out on the plant. . 2) Wash the chive blossoms under cool running water, and shake or gently pat dry with a towel after. (The flowers don’t need to be fully dry however.) . 3) Add the blossoms to a clean jar or other container with a
