Did you know our Solid Waste team will collect your bulky items? Bulky items are collected on B week, the same day as your yard waste collection. Bulky items include chairs, tables, bicycles, children's toys, brooms, mops, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, couches, and more! Crews will collect up to 5 items, at no charge, placed in an orderly manner at the curbside. All items must be at least 4 feet away from all other objects. We will be trialling free bulky waste collections for parts of the borough and opening our recycling centres for longer in a bid to tackle the issue of fly tipping in our borough. 225 free bulky waste collections will be provided from 6 April to 16 April for households in areas which have had the highest number of reported fly tips. The areas being offered free bulky waste collections are Brookside, Dawley & Aqueduct, Donnington, Hadley & Leegomery, Madeley & Sutton Hill, Malinslee & Dawley Bank
