Class 105 diesel multiple unit set. 56121 Driving Trailer Composite Lavatory (DTCL) leading and 51485 Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) at the rear. The British Rail class 105 diesel multiple units were built by Cravens Ltd. of Sheffield from 1956 to 1959. The last 105 passenger car was withdrawn from service in 1988. The sound of a class 69 locomotive with an EMD engine fitted. This one is operated by GB Railfreight and was at Derby station pulling a Network Rail train. This locomotive has basically the same engine as the class 66 locomotives. The class 66s were imported into the UK from Canada and the US. But the class 69s are actually upcycled old class 56 locomotives , built in the late 1970s, and re-engined in the 2020s. Good for another few decades! | Adrian Watson
