Homicide Detectives from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting death in the South Valley on Saturday, September 7, 2024. BCSO is presently in the area of Mares Rd SW and Atrisco Dr. SW. Witnesses on scene told our reporter that they heard three to four gunshots. We observed BCSO deputies interviewing other witnesses at this location. According to BCSO, “details are limited as the investigation is still in its early stages.” We will update you if we learn more about
