Jun 19, 2022 · Unfortunately it’s not going to be possible to make a PS5 Slim without a smaller SOC and that’s beyond the scope of a DIY project. The PS5, giant fins aside, is pretty much in the smallest space that Sony could fit it in with the CPU and cooling technology available at the time and price point target.
