Rumors around Arenado and the Yankees mostly stemmed from suspicion that the 10-time Gold Glove award winner made a three-hour trip to play against the Yankees in Tampa. Arenado did reject trades to the Los Angeles Angels and Houston Astros (who found their third base fix in Isaac Paredes, acquired in the Kyle Tucker trade).
