The work of removing the Houston Astros ballpark’s Minute Maid Park signs, some of which have been on the stadium for nearly 23 years, began Wednesday morning. Work crews removed signs on the Texas Avenue and Hamilton Street sides Wednesday with plans to start taking down the signage on the Crawford Street side of the stadium Thursday.
