KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game will be played in Week 9. As the NFL announced games for the 2025 NFL schedule on Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs’ road trip to Orchard Park to visit the Buffalo Bills will come on Nov. 2. The game will be broadcast on CBS and kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT.

The Buffalo Bills can't get past the hump of the Kansas City Chiefs. This might be the year, though, due to one particular statistic. The number in question: Air travel miles. The NFL released every team's scheduled air travel distance for the 2025 NFL regular season.

Instead of looking back, the Bills are now looking ahead to the 2025 campaign. After making nine draft selections and acquiring a handful of veterans to beef up their roster, the Bills are hoping to finally break through the AFC and make a Super Bowl appearance.

The highlighted games on the CBS slate include the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills showdown in Week 9 (Sunday, Nov. 4), the only game that day in that time slot. The Chiefs are also included in the other highlighted game on CBS, as they face the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 28).

Yet, once again, the Kansas City Chiefs intervened. Patrick Mahomes’ squad — who have beaten the Bills in the playoffs four times these past five years — dealt a crushing blow and beat Buffalo, 32-29, in the AFC Championship Game.

Despite falling to Kansas City again last season, the Buffalo Bills seemingly have done enough to close the gap for good.

As the Kansas City Chiefs attempt to get back to the Super Bowl for the fourth consecutive year, they’ll do so with this schedule providing their path.

The Kansas City Chiefs have eliminated the Buffalo Bills from the playoffs in four of the last five seasons. Needless to say, Josh Allen and the rest of Buffalo are sick and tired of the reigning AFC champions. But the Chiefs have the opportunity to continue to pester the Bills in free agency.
