The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Kansas City area due to an increased fire risk caused by warm, dry, and windy conditions. The warning is in effect on Monday from noon to 8 p.

The previously mentioned fire weather watch has now been updated to a red flag warning for multiple South Texas counties on Saturday, March 8.

The dryer and windy conditions have triggered a “Red Flag” fire warning for all of Central Florida. Residents are encouraged to keep vehicles off of the dry grasses and avoid any activities that include open flames or sparks. Overnight lows will fall into the 40s in almost every community.
