The National Weather Service has begun issuing winter weather advisories as Middle Tennessee prepares for snow across the first two days of December.

The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 5:08 a.m. EST on Tuesday for fog until 8 a.m. EST for Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw and Tuscola counties.
Roads, particularly across bridges and overpasses, are expected to become slippery, making travel “difficult to impossible."
