A planned commuter train between Miami and Fort Lauderdale saw its funding plan derailed Monday by Florida’s new state budget.

Dallas now has funding for a trail extension that will link 4 miles of hiking and biking trails in Far North Dallas.

Frederick and Brunswick will get expanded train and bus services as part of a new Maryland Transit Administration plan to upgrade Maryland Area Rail Commuter operations.
