Coach Patty Gasso and the third-ranked OU softball team will try to go 5-0 on the young season Saturday when the reigning, four-time WCWS champion Sooners face Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.

Parker hit her first home run of the season to lead off the second, putting OU up 6-0. Though it was her first bomb of the year, it was her seventh RBI through five games as she’s enjoyed a phenomenal start to 2025.

Oklahoma improved to 5-0 through the first three days of the season with a shutout win over Loyola Marymount. Kasidi Pickering got the scoring started on Saturday evening in Los Angeles with a three-run home run in the top of the first inning.
