Eastbound I-90 is back open after a vehicle fire shut down the freeway for hours on Monday. A motorhome fire completely blocked eastbound Interstate 90 in the Mount Baker tunnel, prompting drivers to seek alternate routes.

Eastbound Interstate 90 was blocked Monday afternoon after an RV crashed and exploded into heavy flames. At about 12:20 p.m., an RV was seen on the WSDOT traffic cameras in the Mount Baker tunnel after it had crashed into the median. According to the Washington State Patrol, a car was also involved in the collision.
