The administration is asking the Supreme Court to remove a court order that keeps temporary protected status for Haitian immigrants in place.
The solicitor general with the U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to lift a lower court order blocking the cancellation of Temporary Protected Status for Haiti.
The administration has also sought to end deportation protections for other immigrant groups, including Syrians.
