Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has a couple of big team selection decisions to consider for Wednesday’s Club World Cup semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain. The Spaniard will be forced into one change defensively as summer signing Dean Huijsen is suspended as a result of being sent-off in the quarter-final win over Borussia Dortmund.

Among the stars competing in the FIFA Club World Cup are Inter Miami's Lionel Messi (Argentina), Bayern Munich's Harry Kane (England) and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé, all of whom are expected to star for their countries at the 2026 World Cup.
