Julian Hammond III scored 19 points in his return to the lineup after a one-game absence, RJ Smith added 12 and the Colorado Buffaloes beat the TCU Horned Frogs 76-56 in Boulder, Colo., on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 8 TCU Horned Frogs play the Colorado Buffaloes in the Big 12 Tournament. Friday's matchup is the first of the season for the squads.

The TCU Horned Frogs ended the regular season in Boulder with a 76-56 road loss to the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday at the CU Events Center.

The Buffaloes led 37-31 at halftime and extended their advantage to 51-39 with 15:08 left off a Hammond 3-pointer. TCU countered with an 11-0 run that started and ended with White sinking a pair of foul shots and Colorado led 51-50 with 10:11 remaining.

The Horned Frogs win their first conference tournament title since 2005, when they were members of Conference USA.

An overall disappointing regular season ended on a high note for the Colorado men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon. With emotions running high for senior day, the Buffs delivered an emphatic 76-56 win over the visiting TCU Horned Frogs.
