This morning our Jorge Vela met with Ray Pedraza with the Texas Department of Transportation to discuss road conditions. Pedraza said TxDOT had zero road closures overnight and does not anticipate any going into Tuesday night.
"It's a saltwater solution, and it helps prevent ice from bonding to roadways," Jeff Barker, a spokesperson for TxDOT, said of brine.
