The interim head coach of the New York Jets returns to Atlanta where he spent six seasons as a linebackers coach (2015-2020) and one year as interim defensive coordinator.

Now back for his second stint calling plays for the Atlanta Falcons' defense, coordinator Jeff Ulbrich is different -- but similar in important ways.

The Atlanta Falcons announced that Ulbrich has accepted an offer to become their new defensive coordinator. That was the position Ulbrich worked in New York prior to also picking up interim head coach duties: We have named Jeff Ulbrich as Defensive Coordinator!
