“Taxi,” about the lives of cabbies for New York City's Sunshine Cab Company, aired for five seasons from 1978 until 1983. It won 18 Emmy Awards, including three for outstanding comedy series and individual acting ones for DeVito, Kane, Lloyd and Hirsch.
