Unlike seven years ago, the Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their Super Bowl victory at the White House with President Donald Trump on Monday – albeit with several notable absences, including star quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles didn't visit the White House after winning Super Bowl LII in February 2018. That victory came during Donald Trump's first term in office, and after several players made it clear they would be skipping the event if the Eagles went to the White House, Trump decided to rescind the team's invitation .

Several Philadelphia Eagles players were not at the White House ceremony with President Donald Trump on Monday. A few hours before the event, NBC News White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor announced that Super Bowl MVP and quarterback Jalen Hurts, along with multiple unnamed players, would not attend.
