The Palm Beach Town Council said they wouldn't review a proposal to replace the Ambassador hotel with ultra-luxe condo until the owners either evacuate or repair the deteriorated building.

During the code board's April 17 meeting, town staff also noted that the owners secured the building's eastern balconies.
