Former president George W. Bush took the internet by storm during the 2025 Inauguration of President Donald Trump, where the 43rd president seemed to have a playful moment during the proceedings.

Walgreens closed 70 in its fiscal first quarter and plans to shutter around 500 this year. The company runs about 8,500 locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico as well as a few thousand stores in Europe and Asia.

Walgreens plans to close 1,200 stores over three years. After 70 closed September to November 2024, 450 more will close in 2025, the company says.

In a significant restructuring effort, Walgreens has announced the closure of 1,200 underperforming stores across the United States, with one of the affected locations situated at the intersection of Garrison Boulevard and Liberty Heights in Northwest Baltimore.
