Ryan McMahon sparked a comeback with a tying, two-run double in a four-run second inning against Zack Wheeler, and the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 to salvage the finale of a three-game series.

Wheeler had an uncharacteristic start as he allowed four runs in the second inning, and despite hitting three homers, the Phillies produced just five hits in Sunday’s 4-3 loss.
Rodon left in the sixth with a one-run lead and Loaisiga, Weaver, Hill and Williams finished off the Phillies from there.
Phillies third baseman Edmundo Sosa left Saturday’s win over the Yankees following a collision with outfielder Brandon Marsh while catching a popup. According to the team, Sosa suffered a back contusion and will be evaluated further.
