Halle Berry revealed that she was going to wear a Gaurav Gupta dress to the Cannes Film Festival opening gala on May 13, but had to switch her dress due to the festival's rule that prohibits dresses with a long train.

The updated rules prohibit nudity and "voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train."
