Jaxson Dart remained consistent about his place on the Giants’ depth chart after Thursday’s first career NFL start.

The Giants were in control for nearly the entire first half, but the Patriots snuck their way back into it with 10 unanswered points. New England will try to complete the comeback in the second half while the Giants, and their fans, will likely continue replaying Jaxson Dart highlights for the next two quarters to close the preseason.

The New York Giants will open the season with Russell Wilson at quarterback. But they also used a first-round pick on April 24 on Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart, signed 10-year veteran Jameis Winston as a free agent and retained Tommy DeVito,

The Steelers got one bit of encouraging news during the game. Both teams went 4-0 in the preseason before going 0-16 in the regular-season.  Although the preseason doesn't really serve as a good predictor for the regular season, there has been one stat that has somehow translated to regular-season success and that's point differential.
