Following an inning that featured an untimely error and three timely hits, Florida has gained an early advantage at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Gators scored on Ashton Wilson's RBI single and Landon Stripling's RBI double. One of those runs were credited as unearned because of an error by Texas second baseman Adrian Rodriguez.

It's been tough month for the Longhorns, losing four in a row versus SEC opponents. Saturday night at Disch-Faulk field, the tables finally turned in favor of the number one overall seed, thanks to mother nature and 17-year-old freshman Jonah Williams.

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns (39-9, 19-6) were taken off the field in the bottom of the fifth inning of game two of their three-game series against the Florida Gators (34-17, 12-13) due to a weather delay with lightning in the area.
