The Seattle-based e-commerce and technology company said its revenue for the October-December period totaled $187.8 billion, a 10% jump compared to the same period in 2023. Profits came out to $20 billion while earnings per share reached $1.86, higher than the $1.49 that analysts surveyed by FactSet had anticipated.

Cloud computing and online retail behemoth Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) met Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q4 CY2024, with sales up 10.5% year on year to $187.8 billion. On the other hand, next quarter’s revenue guidance of $153.

Amazon was that last of the four major hyperscalers to publish December-quarter earnings and 2025 spending plans.

The forward 4-quarter S&P 500 EPS estimate fell to $271.24 this week, after last week’s $273.33 and the prior week’s $273.17.
