Bubba Wallace became the first Black driver to win a major race on Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s 2.5-mile oval, surviving a late rain delay, two overtimes, concerns over running out of fuel and a hard-charging Kyle Larson on Sunday in the Brickyard 400.

Scott McLaughlin had finished his race at Laguna Seca just before the Brickyard 400 ended. He hoped "the haters enjoyed" Bubba Wallace's win.

With his first crown jewel victory in the NASCAR Cup Series, Bubba Wallace locked into the 2025 playoffs by winning the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Bubba Wallace is a NASCAR Cup Series race champion. The 23XI Racing driver, who drives the No. 23 Toyota, took home the checkered flag at the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
