A Texas lottery player has cashed in big-time after winning $2 million from Mega Millions. The winner, who lives in Grand Prairie, bought the winning ticket from Ballpark Beverage, at 2100 E. Lamar Blvd., in Arlington. The lucky individual has chosen to remain anonymous, according to a Texas Lottery news release.

The most recent big Mega Millions winner was a lucky lottery ticket holder in Arizona, who struck gold on Jan. 18, winning a $113 million jackpot. According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.
