TEMPE, Ariz. — As the Angels complete their first spring training with their state-of-the-art facilities, they are hopeful that the impact will go beyond the novelty of having new gadgets.

The most important player who came into camp with an injury – Zach Neto – represented the biggest of the five key questions we identified for the Angels at the start of spring training.

The Angels and the city of Tempe split the cost of more than $20 million for a new player development facility. The Angels believe the technology will help them get more out of their players.
