Pakistan alleged that India has almost entirely stopped the flow of water across the border through the Chenab river as fears of a clash between the two neighbors mount following a deadly attack in Kashmir.

Pakistan, vowing retribution for what it called an “act of war,” said the strikes killed 26 people and injured 46 others.

SHORTLY AFTER midnight on May 7th, exactly two weeks after a terrorist attack in Kashmir, Indian missiles streaked into Pakistan. India said it had hit “terrorist infrastructure” at nine sites in Pakistani-administered Kashmir and in Punjab.
