CHICAGO (WGN) — The Cherry Blossom Trees at Jackson Park are blooming and the Chicago Park District is inviting Chicagoans to come out and see one of the city’s most beautiful natural wonders.

By 2026, the Chicago Park District hopes to have nearly 250 trees in the cherry blossom tree grove. The number of cherry trees at Jackson Park has been growing steadily over the last 12 years.
