NFL avoids another replacement ref fiasco, strikes new 7-year deal with officials

The NFL won’t have a repeat of its 2012 disaster with replacement referees. On Friday, the league and the NFL Referees Association announced they’d reached a new seven-year collective bargaining agreement through the 2032 season. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the refs voted 116-4 to approve the new CBA.
