New York State Police are investigating a wrong way crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Route 248 in Independence NY. The investigation is ongoing.

Joseph Herman, 36, was involved in a three-vehicle crash on the parkway's westbound lanes near the Straight Path exits.
