The judge overseeing the sex abuse case against a St. Helens teacher has taken himself off the case. The teacher in question is Eric Stearns.

Judge Nickolas Brajcich recused himself on Tuesday, after Stearns and his defense attorney, Jennifer Myrick, pushed for a new judge.
