Cheryl is a lifelong and proud Girl Scout. In addition, Burton is a member of the Society ... bands and had the opportunity to march in the Rose Bowl and the Liberty Bowl. She lives in Chicago.

ABC7 Chicago anchor Cheryl Burton was recognized as one of this year's Vanguard honorees. More than 50 women were honored Friday night at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk in Streeterville.
