Brighton needed it more, and found all three points from a 3-2 comeback win to beat Liverpool at the Amex Stadium on Monday. Liverpool led 1-0 and 2-1 through Harvey Elliott and Dominik Szoboszlai, but Brighton were always firing forward and got just desserts.
Liverpool are set to have a productive transfer window during the summer and although defensive and offensive rebuilds could be the club’s top priorities, a midfielder’s signing or two is also likely to be on the cards.
