Earthquake rocks California near city home to 1.4 million people
California was rocked by a 4.6 magnitude earthquake on Friday. The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected the quake around 10:26am PT (1:30pm ET) near Bombay Beach, which sits northeast of San Diego.
