Netflix’s ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Returning to Movie Theaters for Halloween Sing-Along Screenings

Netflix Plays Nice With AMC to Put 'KPop Demon Hunters' Back In Theaters Again
It turns out that even Netflix cannot turn down the sweet, sweet cash that theaters can bring in, and that's why they have made a deal with AMC theaters to put KPop Demon Hunters back in the theaters for Halloween.
AMC Theatres said it will screen "The official release party of a showgirl" for Taylor Swift's new album from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5.
KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along is slated to return to the three major movie chains – AMC, Regal and Cinemark – across the country this Halloween weekend. The sing-along film was last in theaters for a weekend in August, raking in an estimated $17 million to $18 million at the box office. It previously wasn’t released in AMC Theatres.
Since it premiered in June, "KPop Demon Hunters" has become Netflix's most popular film of all time, with more than 236 million views according to the streaming platform. The soundtrack album currently ranks No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart just behind Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl."
