Bomb threats that said Haitian immigrants should be gone from Springfield were sent to several Clark County offices Monday morning, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said at a press conference.
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Tensions continue to rise in Springfield after yet another bomb threat Tuesday, the second straight day a threat has caused evacuations. This time, Clark State College was the target of the threat.
Residents and visitors are being asked to avoid the downtown area of Springfield due to ‘safety concerns’.
Springfield Police Division Chief Allison Elliott said there was no immediate threat to the community after emailed bomb threats led to road closures and early dismissal for all Springfield City School District students.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — Bomb threats called into Springfield closed down multiple streets, businesses and schools Monday morning. Around 7:45 a.m. Monday, law enforcement was informed of multiple emails containing bomb threats sent to the public safety building and municipal courts ss well Springfield City Schools.
In every case so far, investigators said they found no credible threats.
There is no existing threat following a second round of bomb threats in Springfield Tuesday, this time to Clark State College, Wittenberg University and the Clark County Department of Jobs and Family Services,
