As Shane Bieber was stupendous in his Toronto Blue Jays debut on Friday night against the Miami Marlins, it is another instance of the team stamping their current dominance in the AL East.

After Shane Bieber had a stellar debut for the Toronto Blue Jays in his return from Tommy John surgery in April of last year, the performance garnered the attention of manager John Schneider.

Bieber (1-0) allowed two hits and hit a batter in his 87-pitch outing.
