S hane van Gisbergen passed JR Motorsports teammate Connor Zilisch for the lead with two laps to go to win Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity street race in Chicago. It is the second year in a row that van Gisbergen has won this event.

Van Gisbergen made a name for himself by winning the inaugural Cup series Chicago Street Race in 2023, and he won the Xfinity event in 2024. He passed Zilisch with two laps remaining to retake the lead in a race he occasionally dominated -- at points he was ahead by about four seconds.
