A man has been sentenced to prison for his role in a Minneapolis shooting that left one person dead and three others injured.

As of this publishing, police say they don't believe the shootings are related to each other, and no one has been arrested in either incident.

At least two people are dead and one is injured following separate shootings late Thursday and early Friday in Minneapolis.

Then around 2 a.m. Friday, one man died and a woman was injured in a separate shooting near the intersection of Thomas Avenue and North 26th Avenue. The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) is investigating both incidents and it is unclear if they are connected.

A judge has sentenced Antonio Deshawn Timberlake to 44.5 years in prison for a shooting in 2024 that killed Pierre Romel Miller and injured three others. Timberlake was one of four people charged in the crime.

Two men have died after separate shootings reported in Minneapolis overnight Thursday. No arrests have been made in either shooting, which were reported in south Minneapolis at 8:50 p.m. Thursday and north Minneapolis at 1:45 a.m. Friday.
