Kansas coach Bill Self released from hospital after heart procedure for 'concerning symptoms'
Kansas men's basketball coach Bill Self was released from the hospital Saturday after undergoing a procedure to have two stents inserted, the school announced. Self initially went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Thursday after feeling unwell and experiencing "concerning symptoms."
Bill Self is expected to coach Kansas in the NCAA Tournament. The school said he had a heart procedure, which forced him to miss the Big 12 tourney.
