The disruption caused due to the pull out of Chinese staff by Foxconn Technology Group from India will be "temporary", according to sources within the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Foxconn had previously deployed experienced engineers to enhance local production capabilities and train Indian employees.

The move was reportedly taken due to Chinese restrictions on labour and tech exports, which could disrupt Apple's scaling efforts in India and affect the broader 'Make in India' initiative aimed at transforming India into a global electronics manufacturing hub.
