The Indiana Fever will have a chance for payback against the Lynx when they face Minnesota on Sunday in a two-game, head-to-head series.

INDIANAPOLIS — Kayla McBride scored 29 points, Jessica Shepard got the second triple-double in franchise history, and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 95-90 on Friday night. The Lynx (29-7) snapped a two-game losing streak and are 7-3 in their last 10 games.
Indiana has dealt with three season-ending injuries, including the loss of Sydney Colson. Colson suffered a torn ACL and recently had surgery for the setback. On Friday, Colson took to social media, sharing a sad admission about her departure from the lineup as she works through the injury.
Kelsey Mitchell once again led the team in scoring with 27 points, while Lexie Hull chipped in 23 points as well. Aliyah Boston scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds in the loss.
The Connecticut Sun lost to the Indiana Fever 99-93 in overtime after blowing a 21-point lead at home on Sunday. The loss dropped the Sun to 6-27 on the season for the worst record in the WNBA.
Indiana Fever have battled as many injuries as any team in the WNBA this season and enter Friday night’s matchup against the league-best (28-7)
