At least 596 flights were canceled or delayed Tuesday at Denver International Airport amid light snow and frigid temperatures.

Tuesday's round of light snow is accompanied by Cold Weather Advisories and Extreme Cold Warnings in effect until Thursday morning for the eastern plains.

Many flights were still delayed Monday morning after more than a thousand flights were delayed and 400 were canceled during Saturday’s snowstorm.

More than 800 flights were canceled or delayed Monday at Denver International Airport after fog engulfed the runways and impaired visibility. The Federal Aviation Administration declared an operational status of low visibility Monday morning, causing some of the delays, DIA officials said. The FAA removed that status around 12:15 p.m.
