The explosion and fire sent 10 people to the hospital and displaced 87 residents from the community’s assisted living and memory care units after construction workers hit a power line.

Eighty-seven residents were displaced after an explosion inside a nursing home in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday. Eight people were transported to the hospital and the severity of their injuries was not immediately shared.
