A woman and a dog were killed and multiple other people were injured during a multi-car crash on the 405 Freeway near Westwood on Friday. It happened on northbound lanes near Wilshire Boulevard at around 6:45 p.

An 80-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were critically injured, while a 60-year-old woman was hospitalized in fair condition. Another dog is missing.
